How can I download my e-Aadhar card?

To download your eAadhaar card, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) at https://uidai.gov.in/.
2. Under the "My Aadhaar" tab, click on the "Download Aadhaar" option.
3. You will be redirected to the "Download Aadhaar" page.
4. On the page, select the appropriate option to download Aadhaar: Aadhaar number, Enrollment ID (EID), or Virtual ID (VID).
5. Enter the required details such as Aadhaar number, EID, or VID, along with your full name, pin code, and the captcha verification code.
6. Click on the "Request OTP" button.
7. An OTP (OneTime Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number.
8. Enter the OTP in the designated field and click on the "Download Aadhaar" button.
9. The eAadhaar card will be downloaded in the PDF format.
10. Open the PDF using the password. The password is the first four letters of your name in CAPITAL letters followed by your birth year in YYYY format.

Once downloaded, you can print the eAadhaar card and use it as a valid proof of identity whenever required. It is important to note that the eAadhaar card is equally valid as the physical Aadhaar card issued by UIDAI.
